My mama came up to spend the weekend with us because Chuck had to work out of town. We decided to do a little "photo" shoot with the kids after church. Kennedy had been begining to smile throughout the weekend but I managed to get the first "real" smile on camera. So thankful it was in focus! So precious!Kennedy was having a very fussy day! I had waited as long as I could to take a shower and I had to have one! I put her in her little bed and said to her "Your just gonna have to cry a minute. Mama has got to get a shower." When I got out of the shower I could hear Kennedy screaming at the top of her lungs. I peaked in the living room and Thomas was standing by her bed with his guitar and drum foot pedal singing as loud as he could "Twinkle, twinkle little star!" The louder she got the louder he got! It took everything I could not to bust out laughing. I so wanted to video it but knew if I tried to get to my video camera he would see me and stop so I ran back to the bathroom and videoed it from my phone. I didn't get the whole song but I got enough of it to get the point. He saw/heard me about half way through and his first words were "Mama, her just won't stop crying!" It was the most precious thing. He was so sincere! He was trying sooo hard to get her to stop!
Today has been one of "THOSE" days. Woke up this morning with a nice surprise from Kennedy all the way to her toes in her footy pjs, fixed breakfast and sat down to eat and feed her and she kicked my plate with my orange slices and English Muffin with "melted" peanut butter on it in the floor, put Kennedy on the changing table to change her diaper and when I removed it she "Tee-Teed" everywhere, washed and dried a load of clothes along with a whole pack of gum, and the list goes on! I wouldn't trade this little darlings for the world and thankfully every day is not like today! 
Once again I have gotten way behind on blogging. Well, at least this time I have a pretty good reason. Kennedy was born January 14th at 9:05 am weighing 7lbs 11 oz and was 20.5 inches long. She is absolutely perfect and we couldn't be more in love with her. Her big brother absolutely adores her and she already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! Hopefully, I can keep up (lol) with blogging again. I really enjoy it but finding the time to do it seems impossible sometimes!
I decided that in order to try and make Thomas feel a part of his little SISTER'S arrival and room that I would let him paint a picture to go in her nursery! He was sooo excited to get to do this!
Painting takes great concentration and it even helps to stick your tongue out to help.
While painting Thomas says, "I draw so much in my life but I just never painted!" Priceless! He is so proud of his painting!
I can not wait to frame it and hang it on her wall! This is a treasure!
Sorry for the absence lately! We have had A LOT going on in the past few months and finding the time to blog and feeling like blogging and have put by the way side. I am going to try and get caught up with all the things that I have missed blogging about and also continue with current stuff! Just a recap! In May we found out Thomas is gonna be a BIG BROTHER. To say that I have had a little morning sickness is an understatement! This baby has put me through the wringer! lol We went to the beach in July for our annual beach trip and bought a boat while we were down there! Whew! That was the most expensive beach trip we have ever taken. In September my mama turned 60. We had a surprise party for her. Well, that gets us up to date with the important stuff. Hopefully, I will get pictures posted for each event!

My Easter Masterpiece!
This was my first "Go" at Fondant and I think it turned out pretty good! Tasted yummy too!

These beautiful falls are on my cousins land! We headed on over to have a little fun after the Easter Egg Hunt! 
I looked back and this is what I saw! Apparently the sound of the falls made this little guy have to GO!

GiGi and Thomas were putting an Easter Basket and Bunny on Uncle Buddy's grave! So sweet! We miss him so much! I know he is in a much better place than we are and wouldn't have him back for the world but humanly selfishness wants him here!
